About LINENQ

Where is LinenQ’s linen made?

All our linen is sourced from Europe and is OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certified .

What does it mean for a product to be OEKO-TEX certified?

OEKO-TEX certification ensures that textile products are free from harmful substances at all stages of production, including raw materials, fibers, yarns, fabrics, and end products. Products that are OEKO-TEX certified are free from allergenic dyes, pesticides, heavy metals, and other harmful substances.

At LinenQ, we are proud to use only OEKO-TEX certified linen in our products. This certification gives our customers peace of mind knowing that our linens are safe, sustainable, and responsibly produced.

What is the eco-friendliness of linen?

Linen is considered eco-friendly because it is a natural fiber that is derived from the flax plant. Flax requires less water and doesn't need pesticides to grow, making it a sustainable crop. Additionally, every part of the flax plant is used to produce various products, such as linen fabrics and linseed oil. Linen can also be recycled and is naturally biodegradable, which adds to its eco-friendliness. Overall, linen is a great choice for those who want to support sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Is it possible to see fabrics before making a purchase?

Linen is a highly breathable and absorbent fabric, making it a great choice for staying cool during the summer. Ultimately, the choice between linen and cotton depends on personal preference and budget.

How do I look after my linen?

To keep your LINENQ bedding looking its best, we recommend washing it in lukewarm water (<40°C/104°F) using a gentle machine and mild detergent formulated for delicate fabrics. Avoid using high temperatures. Please also avoid mixing your linens with items made of different materials, and do not use bleach.

For LINENQ clothes, we recommend hanging them to dry immediately after washing.

As for our curtains, we recommend dry cleaning only, as this will help maintain their drape and prevent shrinkage.

When it comes to drying your linens, we encourage you to use hang-drying or air-drying whenever possible, as this is the best method for both your linens and the environment. If you prefer tumble drying, we suggest using low heat and removing your linens while they are still damp. Whenever possible, please lay your linens flat to finish the drying process.

We understand that some people prefer a more polished look for their linens. If you want to iron your LINENQ linens, we recommend doing so while they are still damp, using a mid-hot iron. However, if you prefer a more relaxed look, we recommend skipping the ironing altogether.

How can I check the status of my order?

The most convenient way to check the status of your order is to create a user account on our website. This will give you access to view your order fulfillment status, order history, and save addresses, among other features. Additionally, you can track the shipping of your order by visiting our Order Tracking page.
